Grover Beach, California is a friendly and beautiful seaside City located on California's scenic Central
Coast.  Long known for its diverse recreational activities, Pismo Beach attracts visitors of all ages.  A
sparkling white stretch of sand continues for miles along the temperate waters of the Pacific, providing a
marvelous setting for surfing, deep sea fishing, boating, swimming, or just basking in the sun.

Pismo Beach State Golf Course lies within walking distance of Le Sage R. V. Park.
The Monarch Butterflies return to Pismo Beach and Grover Beach each
year starting in October.  Thousands of vibrant orange and black Monarch
Butterflies return to Pismo Beach, seeking shelter from the freezing northern
winters.  Arriving in late October through February, the
butterflies cluster in the limbs of the Eucalyptus trees
at Pismo State Beach.  The butterflies form dense
clusters in the trees with each one hanging with it's
wings down over the one below it to form a shingle
effect.  This provides shelter from the rain and warmth
for the group.  The weight of the cluster keeps it from whipping in the wind
and dislodging the Butterflies.  The colony at Pismo Beach is one of the
largest in the nation, hosting an average of 100,000 butterflies each year.
The Monarchs that visit Pismo Beach are a special variety, they have a life
span of over six months as opposed to that of common monarchs who only
live six weeks.  The Eucalyptus grove at Pismo Beach is only a short walk from Le Sage Riviera R. V. Park.
